New York City: Day 1

6 Nov

The big weekend has finally arrived and we are in the city for the NYC Marathon.  After a whirleind travel day which involved waiting for my sister and nephews flight, my mom’s flight and navigating the Long Island Railroad to get into the city—we have finally been enjoying ourselves.

We have already eaten pizza….from a place called, “Burgers and Cupcakes”.  The burgers didn’t look very exciting but the pizza was good.

And, of course we couldn’t walk into a place like that without getting an assortment of cupcakes……. We tried marble with peanut butter frosting, strawberry rhubarb, chocolate/chocolate, vanilla/vanilla and chocolate/vanilla.  (Although, I will admit that they were not very good. )

The kids are beat and so am I……..I can’t wait to crawl into bed with them.

Stay tuned for more fun from NYC!
